A well-established law firm is seeking a motivated Property Litigation Solicitor with 0-2 years PQE to join its Real Estate Dispute Resolution team based in Reading. The Role
The successful candidate will provide high-quality legal advice on a variety of real estate disputes, including:
- Disputes related to residential and commercial leases.
- Disputes arising from the buying and selling of land.
- Disputes involving encumbrances and other property rights issues.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Analysing case information and making sound, practical decisions.
- Conducting legal research and applying technical precedents effectively.
- Ensuring exceptional client care in line with professional standards.
- Contributing to marketing and business development objectives, such as supporting client events and creating written content for publication.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualifications:
- Degree with a minimum 2:1 and a strong LPC pass (or equivalent).
- A current, clean practising certificate from the SRA.
- Experience and Skills:
- 0-2 years PQE in property litigation or relevant legal experience.
- A good understanding of property legislation and an ability to apply it practically.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with adaptability for different audiences.
- Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft applications and document management systems.
- Demonstrable experience working towards targets and maintaining accurate time recording.
- An understanding of business development and client engagement activity.
