The firm's Corporate Team, comprised of over 70 lawyers across 13 UK offices, is recognised for its expertise and excellence. The team advises a diverse client base, including entrepreneurs, SMEs, financial institutions, and FTSE 100 companies, on matters such as:
- Mergers and acquisitions.
- Fundraising and private equity.
- Equity capital markets and joint ventures.
- Corporate restructurings and governance.
The Oxford-based team combines top-tier national expertise and international reach with a strong Thames Valley presence. About the Role
The successful candidate will work on a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, shareholder agreements, private equity, and corporate restructurings. With a team-oriented approach, the firm encourages its lawyers to develop their skills and network to build lasting client relationships.
The role is open to candidates with 5+PQE, though applications from individuals with varying levels of experience are welcome.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality legal advice across a range of corporate matters.
- Managing financial performance, including accurate time recording, billing, and meeting targets.
- Identifying and driving business development opportunities to enhance client relationships.

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Relevant post-qualification experience (5+) in corporate law.
- Strong commercial awareness and a client-focused approach.
- The ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for building and maintaining client relationships.
- Proficiency in IT systems, including case management software and Microsoft Office.
- A proactive attitude toward professional growth and development.
