The Role
As part of the specialist Real Estate Disputes team, you'll manage a wide variety of residential and commercial property matters. Key responsibilities include:
- Advising on landlord and tenant disputes (residential and commercial)
- Providing guidance on long leasehold issues
- Handling service charge recovery claims (including Court and Tribunal work)
- Advising on lease interpretation and consultation processes
- Working on rights of first refusal and enfranchisement
- Managing lease renewals and security of tenure matters
You'll benefit from the mentorship of experienced lawyers while running your own diverse caseload, contributing to team projects, and playing a key role in client engagement and business development.
About You
2-4 years' PQE in property litigation or general litigation with a property focus
- Strong knowledge of legislation including the Housing Acts, Landlord & Tenant Acts, and the Protection from Eviction Act
- Excellent drafting, advocacy, and negotiation skills
- A client-focused, commercially minded approach
- Team spirit and the ability to manage workloads and deadlines effectively
