The Opportunity
A prestigious US law firm in the City of London is seeking a talented and driven Construction Disputes Associate with 2+ years' post-qualification experience to join its highly regarded disputes practice. The firm is known globally for its elite client base, complex cross-border mandates, and collaborative, partner-led culture.
This is an opportunity to work on some of the most challenging and high-profile construction and engineering disputes in the market, involving major infrastructure and energy projects across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East.
Key Responsibilities
Acting on international arbitrations (ICC, LCIA, ad hoc), High Court litigation, and adjudications
Advising on complex construction and engineering contracts, including FIDIC, NEC, and JCT forms
Supporting clients through all stages of dispute resolution and strategic risk management
Collaborating with colleagues across international offices on cross-border matters
Engaging with a diverse client base, including global contractors, developers, and public sector entities
Candidate Requirements
2+ years of post-qualification experience in construction disputes from a top-tier practice
A strong academic background and high-quality training
Excellent drafting, analytical, and client management skills
Confidence handling complex matters independently and as part of a team
A proactive, commercially minded approach and interest in international work
