We're looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our clients dynamic MSP team! If you thrive on solving complex IT issues and enjoy working with a variety of clients, this could be the perfect role for you.
My client are a leader in the IT Managed Services space and are always on the hunt for talent individuals with a hunger to learn and progress and a passion for IT and Tech.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide top-notch customer service by resolving technical issues.
- Work with 1st and 2nd line teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Log and track support requests with clear, detailed notes.
- Update client documentation and user guides.
- Perform system installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Assist with on-site projects like hardware refreshes and infrastructure setup.
- 3+ years of IT experience, preferably in an MSP at 2nd line or higher.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Good time management and documentation skills.
Key Skills:
- MSP Experience!
- Strong expertise in Windows Server (2016, 2019 & 2022), Active Directory, Group Policy and Azure AD/Entra ID
- Office 365 and Exchange experience (2016 & 2019)
- Advanced in managing and troubleshooting VoIP Systems
- Virtualization experience (Hyper-V, VMware)
- Understanding of Networking - working with Routers, Switches, Servers, Firewalls, VPNs, VLANs and general support and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP and WAN/LAN Tech
- Previous experience with Intune, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams and PowerShell scripting is a bonus
- Driving Licence and Car (Essential)
Location: Frome
Work Pattern: Monday to Friday
Salary: £35k - £48k DOE
