Position Available: Senior Software Engineer

Location: Hertfordshire

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 + Company Bonus

Experience needed: Experience of software engineering within a complex, high-technology engineering or manufacturing industry such as defence, aerospace, automotive, robotics, electronics, satellite & space technology and similar. We have a few roles available and are keen on engineers with strong experience of C, C++ or Ada.

In these roles, you will be working across multiple applications on both land and maritime projects in the Test Software department. This role allows for involvement in some of the most sophisticated systems in the world across multiple domains, and provides a great opportunity for someone wanting to be involved in many differing areas of software.

• C, C++ or Ada
• Embedded software
• Real time engineering
• Design and development
• Verification and validation
• Software project management/leading projects from a technical perspective

What we are looking for:

• Strong ability to write software in either C, C++ or Ada
• Experience in a complex engineering environment
• Experience with good software engineering practices across the full lifecycle
• Experience of working in an agile development environment
• Good written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
