Senior Data Scientist / Data Scientist

$110 - $160K + (DOE)

I'm working with a leading software house in the Defence and Intelligence space who are looking to extensively grow their Data team, they have 2 positions available a data scientist and a senior data scientist.

Please note due the nature of this roles you must be a US Citizen and already obtain/ be eligible to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities:

• Apply advanced statistical and predictive modelling techniques to maintain, build and improve real time decision systems.
• Optimise processes for maximum speed accuracy and performance.
• Make strategic recommendations on data collection, integration and retention.
• Participate in end-to-end agile software development, collaborating with the wider team.
• Design experiments, test hypotheses, and build models for complex data analysis and advanced algorithms.
• Model and frame business scenarios.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (master's or PHD preferred)
• Minimum 3 year's experience in hands on data science (7 years for the senior)
• Knowledge and experience developing in Python
• Experience working with data driven analytic's
• Experience using ML algorithms
• US Security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
