The Role

  • Debt Recovery & Enforcement: Advising on pre-action strategies and enforcement options in County Court and High Court proceedings.
  • Judicial Review & Public Law: Handling regulatory disputes and challenges to public authority decisions.
  • Construction Disputes: Including matters related to FIDIC and JCT contracts.
  • Company Law Disputes: Applications under the Companies Act, shareholder remedies, and director disputes.
  • Alternative Dispute Resolution: Representing clients in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations to achieve commercially sensible outcomes.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be a technically strong, commercially astute litigator with experience managing high-stakes disputes. Key attributes include:

  • Extensive High Court Litigation Experience: Particularly within the Business &

Property Courts, with expertise in case strategy and procedural applications.

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of the Disclosure Pilot Scheme, electronic disclosure platforms, and complex litigation planning.
  • Advocacy & Negotiation Skills: Experience handling injunctive relief applications, interim hearings, and case management conferences.
  • ADR & Mediation Experience: A practical approach to dispute resolution and settlement negotiations.
  • Client Relationship & Business Development Skills: Proven ability to develop long-term client relationships and contribute to team growth.
  • Leadership & Mentoring: Experience supervising junior staff and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Why Join?

  • A leading Legal 500-ranked firm with a strong reputation for excellence in dispute resolution.
  • Clear Career Progression: Opportunities for increased responsibility and leadership development.
  • Work-Life Balance: Hybrid and flexible working options available.
  • Collaborative Culture: A supportive and forward-thinking environment that values professional development.
  • Innovation & Technology: A firm committed to leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and client service.
