Sales Development Representative
Location: 1-2 days a week in their Boston Office
Salary: up to $60k base/90k OTE DOE plus stock options and uncapped commission/accelerators
My client is a High Growth, Pre-IPO CyberSecurity vendor that has doubled in size YoY. They have an utterly unique product in the Cyber space which is why they have grown so quickly. They are also backed by one of the leading VCs in the Cyber space.
They are looking to grow their SDR team and looking for someone will prospect into Enterprise customers across the US. You will be working with some of the best sales people in the industry and can learn from them. Most of the SDRs are exceeding their numbers and taking home much more than their OTE, which means they are hitting their accelerators.
This role would be getting hands on mentorship from a well tenured SDR Manager to help you achieve what you want. This is an amazing role for career progression - there are so many opportunities for whatever you are looking for whether that is becoming an Account Executive, going into Management or any other sector of the business. The Role:
You will be a successful sales representative, typically the 1st contact with prospective customers. The ideal candidate will drive sales & develop qualified new business opportunities for the Regional Sales Managers, growing the pipeline to achieve revenue goals. You will build potential new client plans for the target market, reaching out and prospecting those markets to generate new leads and convert them into opportunities. You will be responsible for leveraging various sales & lead generation tools, events, and Marketing campaigns to qualify potential leads for the sales team. Engaging prospects over the phone & by email, qualifying them for online or F2F meetings.
Key Skills:
- You will be responsible for sourcing qualified leads that will turn to pipeline opportunities through a combination of inbound follow-up and outbound activity
- Define and maintain target accounts to prioritize based on the strategy
- Investigate and analyze target accounts' relevant teams, key people, and decision-making process. Develop customer approach strategy for target market segment in the US in co-operation with the sales team
- Reach out to key people in the target accounts by optimal channel according to the analysis
- Monitor market response and adapt the business development cycle to better fit to the market status
- Boost new business development, those activities below are also relevant:
- Support marketing activities; publicity, events, seminars, etc.
- Co-operate with the HQ marketing team & co-ordinate with existing customers to upsell
- Communicate, collaborate with local partners to conduct joint go-to-market
The ideal candidate would be either:
- 1+ year experience as an SDR in a Cyber/SaaS/Tech vendor
- Energy and the drive to succeed
- Bubbly personality
- Strong communication skills
