Exciting Opportunity for a Residential Property Solicitor

Position: Solicitor - Residential Property
Experience: Minimum 3 years PQE

An experienced and motivated Residential Property Solicitor is sought to join a dynamic and expanding Residential Property team.

The Role
As a key member of a team consisting of six fee earners and eight dedicated assistants, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in handling a wide range of property transactions. Reporting to the Head of Residential Property, responsibilities will include managing a caseload, delivering expert legal advice, and guiding clients through their conveyancing journey.

Key duties include:

• Running the full conveyancing process from instruction to completion.
• Managing a personal caseload efficiently and effectively.
• Assisting with registrations when the post-completions team is unavailable.
• Engaging in business development, networking, and fostering new client relationships.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory policies and procedures.
• Maintaining CQS standards.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of 3 years' PQE in Residential Property.
• Experience with lease extensions and complex property transactions (desirable).
• Experience managing a small team of legal secretaries/administrators (desirable but not essential).
• Strong administrative skills with the ability to prioritise and delegate effectively.
• Exceptional client care skills, with a personable and empathetic approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and ideally Excel) and Case Management Systems. Experience with LEAP is advantageous but not essential.
• Previous digital dictation experience.
• The ability to remain professional, courteous, and friendly under pressure.
• A proactive, flexible, and team-oriented mindset.
