A well-established law firm in Banbury is seeking a skilled and motivated Residential Development Solicitor to join their team. Known for delivering high-quality legal services, this firm supports clients with a client-centered, collaborative approach and has a strong reputation in the region.

About the Role:
The Residential Development Solicitor will handle a broad range of residential development matters, including:

  • Acquisition and disposal of land for residential development
  • Planning and infrastructure agreements
  • Joint venture agreements
  • Plot sales and development funding
  • Strategic land and option agreements

This role is well-suited for a solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE in residential development work, a strong technical skillset, and a proactive approach to managing complex transactions. The successful candidate will build strong client relationships while working in a supportive team environment focused on professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing all aspects of residential development transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and funding
  • Advising clients on planning, infrastructure, and development matters
  • Handling a varied caseload with autonomy and precision
  • Collaborating with colleagues to deliver comprehensive legal solutions to clients
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships through effective communication

About the Candidate:

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 5+ years' PQE in residential development law
  • Strong technical knowledge in property and planning law, with proven experience in transactions
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Client-focused with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, solution-oriented approach to challenges
