Residential Conveyancer - Full-Time
Based in Wanstead (with flexible working available)
Monday to Friday, 9:30am - 5:30pm
Salary: From £35,000 (depending on experience) + benefits

A well-established and growing law firm with offices in East and South London is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its busy Property Department. With a strong, loyal client base and a reputation for excellence, the firm acts for a wide range of private and commercial clients and is known for its specialist, collaborative team.

The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own caseload of residential property transactions, including:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Re-mortgages and transfers of equity
  • New build transactions, Help to Buy and Shared Ownership
  • Lease extensions and unregistered titles
  • Liaising with clients, agents, lenders and solicitors
  • Working closely with the Private Client Department on related matters


Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years' PQE in Residential Conveyancing (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong technical knowledge across a full range of residential conveyancing matters
  • The ability to work autonomously and efficiently on complex matters
  • A proactive and professional approach to client care
  • A strong interest in business development and networking
  • Excellent communication, organisation and administration skills
  • A collaborative and friendly personality
  • Proficiency in using case management systems, ideally LEAP


Key Skills Required

  • Solid expertise in conveyancing law and residential property transactions
  • Ability to manage multiple cases independently
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Problem-solving ability and commercial awareness
  • Confident IT skills and comfort with digital workflows
