The Role
We're seeking a skilled Head of Residential Conveyancing with 8+ years of experience in complex residential property transactions and management. You will lead a dynamic team of solicitors and paralegals, oversee high-value Residential Property transactions, and play a crucial role in driving business growth through active marketing and business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a variety of complex residential property transactions including freehold and leasehold properties, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, lease extensions, and new build purchases.
  • Lead and develop the Residential Conveyancing team, including preparing and managing budgets.
  • Actively engage in marketing and business development to grow the firm's Residential Property services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with referrers, clients, and external stakeholders.
  • Drive innovation within the department, utilizing the latest technology to improve client service and operational efficiency.

Experience/Attributes Required

  • 8+ years of experience in residential property acquisition and management.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams.
  • Strong experience preparing and managing budgets for large, complex matters.
  • Active involvement in business development and marketing.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to cross-selling and practice development.

Location
This role is based in Reading, with flexible hybrid working options available.
