About the Role

This is an outstanding opportunity to manage a varied caseload of private client matters, including wills, trusts, probate, inheritance tax planning, and estate administration. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering bespoke solutions to clients while contributing to the continued success of the award-winning Private Wealth & Inheritance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Caseload Management: Handle a range of private client matters, including wills, probate, tax planning, and trust administration.
  • Client Advisory: Provide expert guidance on complex inheritance and tax planning matters.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with teams in family law, property, and other departments to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain long-term client relationships, providing a personal and empathetic approach.
  • Business Development: Participate in networking events, prepare marketing materials, and contribute to the firm's growth initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience: 2-6 years PQE in private wealth or inheritance law.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of wills, trusts, probate, and tax planning.
  • Client-Focused: Exceptional interpersonal skills and discretion when handling sensitive matters.
  • Organisational Skills: Ability to manage a busy caseload and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Professional Growth: A STEP qualification or willingness to pursue one is desirable but not essential.
