A well-established and highly regarded law firm in Reading is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its growing Wills and Inheritance Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious solicitor to manage a diverse caseload, support team members, and play a key role in the development of the department.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will handle a wide range of private client work, including:

• Drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Inheritance Tax planning
• Elderly client matters and estate administration

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing your own caseload independently
• Supporting other members of the team with technical expertise and guidance
• Actively participating in business development and networking to enhance the profile of the department and the firm

Candidate Requirements:

• A qualified solicitor with at least 6 years PQE in private client law
• Strong technical skills in wills, trusts, tax planning, and elderly client matters
• A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work under minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and client management skills
• Proven business development and networking abilities
