About the Role:

Join us as a Principal Contracts Officer in a role that places you at the heart of the UK's defence industry. You'll play a vital role in driving business strategy, securing new contracts, and maximising business opportunities through strategic planning. Be part of the complete contract lifecycle-from bidding and contract delivery to negotiating terms and ensuring compliance with MoD contracting structures. ✍️

You'll also:

• Draft key agreements such as loan, licence, and NDAs
• Manage and build relationships with customers
• Provide leadership to your team and effective communication with stakeholders
• Report progress to senior management and ensure compliance across all agreements

What We're Looking For:

✅ Proven experience drafting, negotiating, and agreeing on contracts and agreements
✅ Experience supporting business strategy and winning new work
✅ Ability to draft confidentiality, loan, licence, and NDA agreements
✅ Knowledge of defence, aerospace, or government industries is advantageous
✅ Familiarity with MoD structures, DEFCONs, and QDCs is a plus
