Join our clients Platform Engineering Team within Technology Operations & Cyber Security (TOCS) to support, maintain, and innovate the Bank's core platforms. Your focus will be the Linux Server Estate, ensuring efficiency, performance, resilience, and security while managing system changes effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supporting, maintaining, and innovating the Linux server estate.
• Engineering, validating, and implementing technical solutions.
• Managing infrastructure projects, upgrades, and automation with Ansible & AAP.
• Performing root cause analysis and issue remediation.
• Collaborating across teams to ensure effective change management and excellent service delivery.

Key skills

• Strong sysadmin & engineering experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux#
• Satellite (install, configure, manage)
• VMware (upgrade, manage)
• Networking fundamentals & cybersecurity awareness
• Problem-solving mindset with a drive for automation (Python, Bash, APIs)
• Exceptional communication & teamwork skills

Advantageous skills

• Veritas Infoscale, VCS, Solaris experience
• Server hardware management & maintenance
• Red Hat Openshift, ARO, AKS
• CI/CD tooling & ITIL framework experience
• Agile team experience
