Job Title: Oracle EBS Data Migration Engineer
Location: Manchester (Remote - 1 day per week onsite)
Rate: Market rate
Contract Length: Initial 6 months (+ extensions)
Clearance: BPSS required

The Role:

We're seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Data Migration Engineer to join a high-profile project with a leading systems integrator in the MALS (Manufacturing, Automotive, Logistics, and Supply Chain) sector.
You'll play a key role in migrating data from legacy systems into Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), focusing on modules like Oracle Projects and Oracle Supply Chain. This is a hands-on technical role requiring expertise in data mapping, transformation, and validation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform data extraction, cleansing, and transformation from legacy systems into Oracle EBS.
• Use SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle APIs, and Open Interfaces for data migration.
• Ensure data integrity through validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and defect resolution.
• Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, and project teams.
• Prepare technical documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions.

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in Oracle EBS data migration, particularly in Oracle Projects and Supply Chain modules.
• Strong skills in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle APIs.
• Experience with data mapping and transformation (CV040 documentation is a plus).
• Familiarity with ETL tools and data migration best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
