A highly respected, Lexcel-accredited law firm with a heritage spanning over 150 years, this leading Hampshire practice is looking for an experienced New Build Residential Conveyancer. The firm is proud of its deep roots in the community, offering a comprehensive range of legal services to both individuals and businesses. With a long-standing reputation for client care and legal expertise, they provide a personal, approachable service that clients trust.

Role and Experience Level:

This exciting opportunity is open to experienced Solicitors, Chartered Legal Executives/CILEX Lawyers, or Licensed Conveyancers with specific expertise in New Build plot purchases. Based in the Fareham office, the successful candidate will manage a busy caseload of residential conveyancing matters, focusing on new build transactions. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in residential conveyancing and strong client care skills.

Team and Culture:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload, specifically focusing on New Build plot purchases.
  • Provide clear and concise advice to clients on all aspects of residential conveyancing, including sales, purchases, remortgaging, and lease extensions.
  • Ensure efficient communication with clients and intermediaries, maintaining excellent client care.
  • Utilise a case management system to handle a high-volume caseload.
  • Actively engage in marketing and business development activities to support the growth of the team.

Impact of the Role:

In this role, you will be pivotal in guiding clients through one of the most significant transactions of their lives-purchasing a new home. By providing expert legal advice and managing each step of the process efficiently, you will play a key role in the firm's continued reputation for excellence in residential conveyancing.

Working Options:

This is a full-time, office-based role, with working hours from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. The firm offers a hybrid working option after the successful completion of a probationary period.

Location:

The role is based in the Fareham office, conveniently located with excellent transport links and free on-site parking.

Salary and Benefits:

The firm offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:

  • Contributory pension
  • Health Cash Plan
  • Life Assurance
  • Employee Support Programme
  • Additional annual leave during firm-wide office closures at Christmas
  • Opportunities to participate in social events and charity fundraising
  • Free legal services for staff and close family members
  • Free parking
  • Complimentary refreshments in the office
