IT Project Manager (Procurement & Finance)

A prestigious client of mine is seeking an experienced and highly motivated IT Project Manager to lead the optimisation of the Unit4 Scanmarket procurement system and the implementation of a new OCR invoicing system. This is an exciting opportunity to drive key digital transformation initiatives within the organisation, specifically migrating from the Proactis Agresso system to a cutting-edge OCR invoicing solution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timely and successful optimisation of the Unit4 Scanmarket procurement system and seamless migration from Proactis Agresso to a new OCR invoicing system.
• Collaborate with key internal stakeholders (procurement, finance, IT, and other departments) to gather requirements, define scope, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Oversee the technical optimisation and enhancement of the Unit4 Scanmarket procurement system, ensuring it meets the current and future business requirements.
• Manage the full lifecycle of the new OCR invoicing system implementation, including requirements gathering, vendor selection, system configuration, testing, and go-live.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven track record in managing IT projects from inception to delivery, ideally within the procurement, finance, or ERP domains.
• Experience with procurement systems (preferably Unit4 Scanmarket) and invoicing solutions, including OCR technology.
• Demonstrated ability to drive system optimisation and improvements, balancing both technical and business needs.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and financial workflows.
• Understanding of OCR invoicing systems and integrations with ERP solutions.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
