IT Deployment Engineer - 6 month contract - Edinburgh

Are you an IT Deployment Engineer available for your next project in Edinburgh?

We have an immediate opportunity to join our public sector client in Edinburgh, looking to upgrade their Windows and Linux laptop estate. They ideally need someone to help them plan and coordinate the logistics of deploying new equipment and all relevant documentation and communication that goes with this.

I am keen to speak with candidates who have

• Previous experience working as an IT Deployment Engineer
• Ability to create and implement rollout and asset management plans, including technical design, logistics, governance, risk considerations, and training requirements. Capable of presenting proposals to all organisational levels.
• Working experience with the following technologies:
  • Service Now Platform: Expertise in using Service Now for task and asset management.
  • Windows 11 Deployment: Proven experience in deploying Windows 11 devices.
  • Intune and SCCM: Proficiency in laptop build and application deployment using Intune and SCCM.
  • Microsoft Office 365: In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 suite.
  • HP EliteBook Laptops: Familiarity with HP EliteBook laptops would be a distinct advantage
  • Ubuntu Linux & Mac Book
• Experience and certified PAT Tester
• ITIL Foundation Certification in IT Service Management
