Infrastructure Design Specialist

£479 P/D (Inside IR35)

My client requires talented Infrastructure Designers to Create high-level and detailed infrastructure designs for the development and delivery of high-quality infrastructure designs, standards, and technology consultancy for IT projects.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assess infrastructure costs for proposed solutions.
• Develop adoption roadmaps, reusable design patterns, and Standard Operating Environments (SOE).
• Create operational and use case models for new technologies.
• Ensure design governance for reliability and quality.
• Provide consultancy during project estimating, including cost and impact analysis.

Key skills:

• Operating Systems: Windows Server, Red Hat Linux
• Services: TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory
• Databases: Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle
• Messaging/Collaboration: Exchange, MS Teams, SharePoint
• Virtualization: VMware ESXi
• Desktop: Windows
• Proven ability to influence at a senior level.
• Experience designing solutions in financial services to meet critical business needs.
• Familiarity with agile and traditional waterfall development methodologies.
