The Role

As the Financial Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial reporting across the group. This is an ideal opportunity for an ACA-qualified accountant who enjoys a dynamic environment and is ready to take ownership of group consolidation, statutory reporting, and other key financial processes.

• Group Consolidation: Oversee the consolidation of group accounts, ensuring accurate reporting in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports and statutory accounts.
• Variance Analysis: Analyse financial data and provide insights into variances and trends across the group.
• Budgeting & Forecasting Support: Collaborate with other finance teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and streamline group accounting processes.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with finance teams across different business units to gather data, resolve discrepancies, and promote best practices.

The Person:

• ACA qualified, with a strong technical accounting background and knowledge of IFRS/UK GAAP.
• Proven experience in group accounting, consolidation, and statutory reporting within a complex, multi-entity organisation.
• Strong communication skills, able to present complex financial information to senior stakeholders.

The Package

• £50,000 - £60,000 plus bonus and car allowance
• Hybrid working - 3 days in office
