The Role
- Drive the financial strategy to support business growth and operational efficiency, ensuring alignment with the company's long-term goals.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, ensuring accurate and insightful reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Ensure robust internal controls and compliance with financial regulations, safeguarding the integrity of the organisation's financial operations.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the board and senior leadership team, offering commercial insights to drive profitability and manage risks.
- Collaborate with other departments to implement financial systems and processes that enhance efficiency and support decision-making.
The Person
Requirements as a Finance Director:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with extensive experience in financial leadership roles.
- Proven ability to manage complex financial operations within a manufacturing or similar industry.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with experience in building and managing high-performing teams.
- Advanced knowledge of financial systems and proficiency in developing and implementing new processes.
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
The Package
