Family Solicitor

Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle private law proceedings and Family Law Act cases
• Manage divorce, separation, and financial orders
• Draft and advise on cohabitation agreements and pre/post-nuptial agreements.
• Represent clients and conduct your own advocacy in court
• Work with CCMS and provide guidance on Legal Aid matters
• Deliver exceptional client care, ensuring clients are supported throughout their legal journey
• Managing an independent caseload

The Ideal Candidate:

• 2+ years PQE in Family Law (applications outside this range will be considered)
• Proven ability to manage a diverse family law caseload independently
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Highly client-focused, with exceptional relationship-building skills
• Experience with CCMS and Legal Aid is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite and other IT systems
