DevOps Engineer - 6 month contract - outside IR35 - Edinburgh (Hybrid)

I have an immediate opportunity for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to support an ongoing Digital Transformation programme with our public sector client in Edinburgh.

Focus will be to support the migration of their on-prem Postgres estate onto their new AWS cloud platform.

As such, I am keen to speak with candidates who have the following skills and experience:

• Proven background working as a DevOps Engineer with experience of migrating systems from on-prem to cloud environments
• Previous experience working for public sector clients would be preferred
• Strong skills in AWS, IAM, S3, Servless, Lambda, CDK, Cloud Formation etc.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL/RDBMS and noSQL databases with skills in Postrgres ideal
• Monitoring solutions knowledge such as CloudWatch, Grafana, Kibana, etc.
• Experience of designing and implementing solutions in both service-based and serverless architecture
• Knowledge of Python, Ansible, MongoDB, new software delivery would be an distinct advantage
