A ranked global firm is recruiting for a lawyer to join the corporate team in London at either partner or very senior level.
This international firm has 18 offices across 14 countries, with each office having partners who are established leaders of their respected markets. The firm provides bespoke services of the highest quality to their high profile clients, in order to achieve the best results. The firm has also been shortlisted several times at The Lawyer European Awards, in the Global Initiative of the Year category. Their work is almost exclusively international and multi-jurisdictional in nature.

Globally the firm has a highly regarded corporate and commercial presence, providing clients ranging from high-net worth individuals to large multi-nationals with practical and focused advice. The team comprises of experienced lawyers, internationally regarded for their knowledge, expertise and commercially driven advice. They have particularly successful offices in Italy, Spain and Latin America as well so there might be good cross over for someone with clients/ ties in those areas. There is ample opportunity for someone to take on a lead role in the London office by developing the global work network that the firm has already.

As part of the corporate team, you will be involved working on a number of transactions including corporate finance, VC, offshore company formation, tax advice and restructuring, M&A, joint ventures, enterprise investment scheme, corporate governance, share option schemes, and partnerships. Ideally you would also have some experience in commercial matters and data protection.

This might afford an ideal opportunity for someone looking to take a step up to junior partner level as the firm has a healthy network internally of clients that they would need you to develop in addition to supporting you with an excellent marketing budget to attend global networking events.
