Contentious Trust & Probate Solicitor - Guildford

A highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Contentious Trust & Probate Solicitor to join its Charities & Private Wealth Disputes team in Guildford. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a Tier 1-ranked team, handling complex inheritance disputes for a national private client base and leading charities.

The Role
The successful candidate will:

• Manage a busy caseload of contentious trust and probate matters from inception to resolution
• Work closely with a specialist team, with support from trainees and paralegals
• Collaborate with colleagues in Private Wealth, Agricultural, Mental Capacity, Tax, and Family Law to provide comprehensive client support
• Engage in business development initiatives to enhance the team's market presence
• Benefit from flexible hybrid working arrangements

The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience in contentious trusts and probate, handling their own caseload
• A commercial and pragmatic approach to advising clients
• Strong team leadership and mentoring skills
• First-class communication skills to build and maintain client relationships
• ACTAPS and/or STEP qualifications (or a willingness to obtain them with support)
