A leading international law firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Partner to join its growing London practice.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an entrepreneurial real estate lawyer to join a highly respected platform with ambitious growth plans. The firm is looking to strengthen its Real Estate offering through the appointment of a senior lawyer with expertise in Investment, Funds, and/or Energy-related real estate work, together with the commercial vision and market presence to help drive the next phase of growth.

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will join a nationally recognised Real Estate team advising a diverse client base including:

• Institutional investors
• Investment funds
• Real estate asset managers
• Developers and landowners
• Energy and infrastructure clients
• Corporate occupiers
• Private capital and family office investors

The role offers significant scope to build and shape a practice, supported by an established client base, strong cross-referral opportunities, and a collaborative partnership culture.

Areas of Focus

The firm is particularly interested in speaking with lawyers who have expertise in one or more of the following areas:

• Real estate investment acquisitions and disposals
• Fund-related real estate transactions
• Energy and infrastructure projects
• Renewable energy developments
• Strategic land and development projects
• Asset management and portfolio transactions
• Complex commercial real estate matters
• Cross-border real estate investments

The Role

As a Partner, you will:

• Lead and develop client relationships across your chosen market sector
• Drive business development and practice growth initiatives
• Manage and grow a portfolio of high-value client relationships
• Collaborate with colleagues across Real Estate, Corporate, Banking, Construction, Planning, Energy, and Private Wealth teams
• Mentor and support the development of junior lawyers and future leaders
• Contribute to the strategic growth and direction of the wider Real Estate practice
• Act as a trusted adviser on complex and commercially significant transactions

About You

The ideal candidate will be:

• An established Commercial Real Estate Partner or senior lawyer ready to step into partnership
• Technically strong with a strong reputation in the market
• Experienced in real estate investment, funds, energy, or infrastructure-related transactions
• Commercially minded with a proven ability to develop client relationships
• Able to demonstrate a credible growth strategy and business case
• Well-connected within the London and/or wider UK property market
• Collaborative in approach and motivated by growing a successful practice within a supportive environment
• A strong network of professional contacts, referral sources, and market relationships
