A leading professional body is embarking on a multi-phase digital transformation programme and is now seeking an experienced Digital Transformation Commercial Lead to join at a pivotal stage of delivery. This is an exciting opportunity to shape commercial strategy and supplier performance across a programme designed to modernise systems, services, and ways of working.

The role:

As Digital Transformation Commercial Lead, you'll be responsible for all third-party commercial activity across the transformation programme. You'll take the lead on supplier negotiations, contract management, risk mitigation and commercial governance-ensuring that all external engagements deliver measurable value and support agile delivery.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement commercial strategies to support digital transformation goals

• Manage supplier relationships and lead complex contract negotiations

• Monitor commercial risks and maintain a commercial impact assessment framework

• Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, IT, and Finance teams to enforce compliance and ensure value for money

• Support programme governance and commercial reporting at a senior level

• Promote continuous improvement and innovation in supplier and commercial practices

What we're looking for:

• 5+ years' experience in commercial leadership roles within major transformation programmes

• Strong background in supplier and contract management, including outsourcing and technology partnerships

• Proven ability to manage high-value, high-risk relationships and lead commercial negotiations

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

• Familiarity with procurement and legal frameworks

• Experience in Agile delivery environments

• Degree or professional qualification preferred
