The Role
This role offers the opportunity to advise on a broad range of insurance and reinsurance disputes, including coverage disputes, claims, and professional indemnity matters. You will handle contentious issues for major insurers, reinsurers, brokers, and policyholders, and gain exposure to international and cross-border disputes.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a diverse caseload of insurance disputes.
- Advising clients on policy wording and coverage issues.
- Acting in litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
- Supporting senior lawyers on complex, high-value cases.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
The Ideal Candidate
- 2-4 years of post-qualification experience, ideally gained at a leading law firm.
- A strong academic record with a focus on insurance law.
- Proven experience in insurance disputes, with experience in construction and/or financial lines being a distinct advantage.
