This leading UK law firm is seeking a skilled and motivated Real Estate Associate to join its expanding Asset Management team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-value, high-profile landlord and tenant matters. About the Role:
The successful candidate will:

  • Join a team with an impressive client list of national retailers and large regional businesses.
  • Providing support with acquisition and estate management strategies.
  • Support with transactional due diligence and management work for retail clients, both on landlord and tenant side.
  • Be involved in all aspects of asset management, from advising clients on acquiring, managing, and disposing of real estate to helping them plan for the future and providing innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with the planning, construction, and property disputes teams.


What's Required:

  • Confidence in engaging directly with clients of varying sizes to support their asset management needs.
  • Ability to ask insightful questions to better understand client objectives.
  • Independence, with a willingness to take responsibility and maintain direct communication with key client contacts.
  • Strong collaboration skills with co-counsel and internal teams to deliver on client goals.
  • Motivation to develop professionally, with an interest in understanding the commercial context of client businesses.
  • A commercial mindset, with the ability to see the "bigger picture" and offer practical, strategic advice.
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
