Search have partnered exclusively with a growing business based near to Coventry to recruit for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their accounts team and report to the Finance Director.

This role is suitable to a candidate with good general accounting skills, from a fast paced background where no day is typically the same and has strong attention to detail.

Other aspects include:

• Transactional purchase ledger invoicing
• Raising sales invoices
• Processing payments, BACS and transfers
• Dealing with suppliers and queries
• Month end closure and balance sheet reconciliation for 6 companies.
• Journals, prepayments and accruals.
• Financial reporting
• Assisting with month end accounts
• Additional admin tasks as necessary

The successful candidate will need to:

• Have a strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good experience reporting to senior stakeholders
• Have ability to meet multiple deadlines
• Be able to establish good working relationships in a cross-functional environment with excellent communication skills.
• Have a positive attitude, flexible approach and a passion to learn
• Wanting to grow and develop and join a fast faced environment.
• Have experience of an accounting software system and be confident using systems.

Salary

£28,000 - £32,000 DOE
