Terms and Conditions

  1. What is the Refer a Friend Scheme?
    1.1 This scheme allows you to receive rewards in return for referring your friends ("Friend”)for employment opportunities with Henderson Scott clients.

  2. Who can I refer?
    2.1 To qualify for a reward, the Friend you are referring must:
         2.1.1 be a personal contact and not an individual that you have met through your employment, office or other work arrangement,
         2.1.2 be eligible to work in the UK,
         2.1.3 be employed or engaged within 12 months of the date of referral,
         2.1.4 must not have applied directly to Henderson Scott or be a registered candidate on the Henderson Scott database within the 6 months prior to the date of your referral and
         2.1.5 remain employed or engaged for a minimum period of 12 weeks.

    2.2 By providing your Friend’s details, you warrant and confirm that:
         2.2.1 your Friend has provided their express consent for you to pass their details to Henderson Scott,
         2.2.2 your Friend has been provided with a copy of Henderson Scott’s Privacy Policy.  
         2.2.3 referring your Friend does not breach any contractual or other duty that you may have or owe to any person, business or other organisation howsoever arising.
  1. What is the reward?
    3.1 If your referral is successful, you will be awarded a high street voucher (“Successful Referral”) with a value equivalent to £1000 (one thousand pounds sterling). Please contact [email protected] to enquire about submitted referrals.

    3.2 If a Successful Referral is confirmed, please email [email protected] to request your vouchers.

    3.3 Please note that once the vouchers have been issued, Henderson Scott accepts no responsibility for
         3.3.1 any vouchers not successfully received due to any systems or network errors
         3.3.2 lost or stolen vouchers
         3.3.3 any tax or NI due to HMRC in relation to the vouchers. This will be your responsibility and you should take appropriate financial advice to ensure that any sums are accounted for to HMRC.

    3.4 Henderson Scott reserves the right to offer an alternative reward of an equivalent value at any time.
  1. Breach
    4.1 Any breach of these Terms and Conditions will disqualify you from making any claims for Successful Referrals.

    4.2 Henderson Scott will be the sole decision maker in respect of whether there has been any breach of these Terms and Conditions and all decisions made by Henderson Scott will be final.
  1. Exclusions
    5.1 The scheme is not open to:
         5.1.1 Henderson Scott employees,
         5.1.2 individuals that are related to or have a personal relationship with a Henderson Scott employee.

    5.2 A reward will not be due in the event that:
         5.2.1 the conditions at clause 2 are not satisfied,
         5.2.2 the Friend has already applied to a position with Henderson Scott prior to your referral,
         5.2.3 the Friend does not commence employment.

    5.3 You can only claim vouchers for a Successful Referral once every 12 months from the date a voucher is awarded. Any additional referrals made in this 12 month period will be treated as a gift to Henderson Scott and will not qualify for a reward.
  1. General
    6.1 “Henderson Scott” means Henderson Scott Limited, company no. 03690606 and having its registered office address at 2nd Floor Corner Block, Quay Street, Manchester, England, M3 3HN.

    6.2 Henderson Scott shall not be liable under any circumstances howsoever arising for any indirect loss, consequential or special loss, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of contracts, loss of revenue, loss of goodwill, loss of data or loss of savings (anticipated or otherwise).

    6.3 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall limit or exclude any party's liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by the negligence, or to the extent otherwise not permitted by law.
